Think IT

Think IT helps schools find, buy and implement the right EdTech solution.

Think IT is an EU tendered, IT procurement framework specifically for education. The benefits of being an EU tendered framework are that regardless of the value of the purchase, schools, colleges and universities can buy directly, without having to go out to tender or get multiple quotes, saving time and money on procurement. It is one of the routes the Department for Education (DfE) recommends schools use in their guidance “Buying for Schools”.

Being EU tendered means that Think IT has to provide value for money.

At Think IT, we believe that in today’s environment, one company can’t supply ‘best-in-class’ for all of the ICT components needed to run a school, but a consortium can.

We have over 30 of the best educational suppliers on the framework, all experts in their own area. There are 18 different categories that cover all aspects of ICT, meaning that customers can ‘pick and mix’ the solutions they require, so that they only pay for what they need. We can help schools set the strategy that’s right for them, make recommendations, select the right suppliers (and make them work together); all under one simple-to-administer contract.

And we provide guarantees. Because you buy the service through us, if something goes wrong it’s up to us to fix it for you.

Our aim is to “make IT easy for schools”.
