The cost per entry is £295 (+VAT) for BESA members, and £345 (+VAT) for non members.

Company of the Year (more than £10m turnover)

Open to organisations whose turnover is more than £10 million that provide educational establishments with high-quality, safe EdTech products or services appropriate to their everyday teaching and learning needs.

Company of the Year (£3m-£10m turnover)

Open to organisations whose turnover is between £3 million – £10 million that provide educational establishments with high-quality, safe EdTech products or services appropriate to their everyday teaching and learning needs.

Company of the Year (less than £3m turnover)

Open to organisations whose turnover is less than £3 million that provide educational establishments with high-quality, safe EdTech products or services appropriate to their everyday teaching and learning needs.

Company of the Year (not-for-profit)

Open to not-for-profit organisations that provide educational establishments with high-quality, safe EdTech products or services appropriate to their everyday teaching and learning needs.

Bett Innovation Award (more than £3m turnover)

To reward companies that have demonstrated outstanding innovation in the last 12 months either via the release of game-changing technology, or through creative and genuinely unique initiatives with demonstrable outcomes. Open to organisations whose turnover is more than £3 million.

Transformational Impact (more than £3m turnover)

Open to organisations whose turnover is more than £3 million. This award recognises individuals, teams or products which have delivered transformational change.

AI for Assessment and Data Analysis

To reward companies that have demonstrated outstanding impact in the significant and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence in education in the last 12 months. e.g. innovations in algorithms, new AI frameworks, research leading to noteworthy discoveries.

AI for Teaching and Learning

To reward companies that have demonstrated outstanding impact in the significant and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence in education in the last 12 months. e.g. innovations in algorithms, new AI frameworks, research leading to noteworthy discoveries.

AI in Education – Workload Reduction

Early Years Product or Service

To reward exemplary products and services for early years i.e. nursery, pre-school and reception

Further and Higher Education Technology Award

To reward exemplary learning resources and content for the further and higher education sectors.

Collaboration with a School, College or University

Open to all EdTech companies who have worked with a school, college, university or educational institution at any age range or sector in an innovative way to have a transformative impact upon either educational standards, or the operational running of the institution.

Leadership & Management Solutions

To reward exemplary software, hardware, content and tools for institutional leaders and managers working in the early years, primary, secondary, higher or further education and skills sectors.

IT Support Service

This Award celebrates UK-based companies and educational organisations that provide effective services, support and professional development to ensure that ICT really makes an impact in the classroom.

AV, VR/AR, Robotics or Digital Device

Digital Devices: all paid-for digital hardware which meets the needs of learners and educators including (but not exclusively) computing devices, portable devices (e.g. cameras, data loggers), audio visual equipment, VR equipment, robotics, communications devices, other peripherals, input/output devices and electronic toys.

International Digital Educational Resource (non-UK curriculum)

To reward exemplary digital and online education resources that are successful internationally.

Wellbeing Resources

To reward innovation in and commitment to the development of resources to support wellbeing in the primary, secondary, further and higher education sectors.

Safeguarding Solutions

To reward innovation in and commitment to the development of resources to support safeguarding and/or online safety in the primary, secondary, further and higher education sectors.
