Created by our speech and language therapists (SaLTs), our innovative online resource, available to schools by annual subscription, combines a standardised assessment, targeted interventions with measured outcomes and a teacher training package. It enables schools to pinpoint and effectively support the language and communication needs of key stage 3 students, to boost attainment and improve life outcomes.
Its assessment identifies students whose SLCN make it difficult to access the curriculum and put them at risk of social exclusion. Its ready to go, video-led small group interventions target a range of highly functional core language skills, cross-curricular speaking, listening and social skills, and the development of self-supportive strategies for students. Our two online training modules for teachers and classroom support staff, accredited by CPD UK, detail the impact of SLCN and show how to implement effective support in the mainstream classroom and create an inclusive communication friendly school environment.
