Discovery Education – Discovery Education Sandbox AR
Sandbox AR is an augmented reality ‘maker’ app that allows students and teachers to create, share, and even inhabit virtual environments. By placing a stage on a flat surface and adding models to create a sandbox, students create a virtual world they can experience and share. Whether being used as a teacher-led or pupil-led resource, users can create virtual worlds and populate them with objects from history, the built world, science and nature, and more, easily integrating with virtual and physical teaching approaches.
The app is designed to stimulate exploration and the sense of having experienced an environment in real life, providing a powerful prompt to reinforce learning or to go on and create, based on their experience of inhabiting their own created world. Using hundreds of models and virtual stages, pupils can build their own immersive world in augmented reality. These can be based on many popular themes or purely based on the pupil’s own imagination.
What makes Sandbox AR unique is the ability to scale up and inhabit life size virtual environments, so pupils can literally inhabit the world they have created.
TRUETRUE is an all-in-one coding robot that can learn the entire process from coding basics to artificial intelligence and text coding. It supports Unplugged activities based on card coding, EPL activities based on Scratch 3.0, artificial intelligence activities linked to teachable machines, and text coding activities based on JavaScript.
TRUETRUE has been exported to 23 countries around the world and has won awards from two international organizations. In 2019, it received a gold award at Edutech Asia’s Best robotic solution, and in 2021, we won GESS education award’s Innovation Product Awards – Digital / Coding / Software.

The Sphero indi learning robot brings abstract programming and computer science concepts to life for students as young as 4 years old while encouraging open-ended, imaginative play-based learning and computational thinking skills. Students build custom mazes and solve puzzles using eight different-coloured durable tiles that represent different commands, like “celebrate!” or “turn left.” Then, level up learning by using basic code blocks to reprogram how indi responds to each color in the prereader-friendly Sphero Edu Jr App.
