The Number Fun website includes over 500 unique videos for teaching and learning, these are organised according to the English National Curriculum mathematical domains and phases. Based on the power of song and story (Egan 1986), each engaging presentation targets a specific mathematical objective and is accompanied by a set of creative and flexible ideas, and downloadable PDF resources for teachers.
These videos, and the vast array of accompanying resources, include visualisation, animation, key vocabulary, story, characters, song and humour to help children understand and remember different mathematical concepts, supporting the retrieval of knowledge, automaticity and mathematical fluency.
