BBC Bitesize has launched a brand-new Primary Maths offer for KS1 and KS2, packed with curriculum-aligned resources to spark children’s interest in maths.
With over 200 learner-friendly guides, each mapped to a specific year group, the content helps children build confidence and understanding across key maths topics — from number and calculation to shape, space, and data.
The programme includes over six hours of clear, step-by-step videos and more than 1,500 interactive quiz questions, ideal for powering up their maths skills.
All content is written by experienced maths educators, with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
A cast of friendly characters and playful animations help bring the subject to life and keep children engaged and learning.
There are also two new games offering real-world problem-solving contexts. Visit the bakery, post office, and building site to help the Canine Crew solve everyday problems using your maths skills to learn about measuring mass. Then, join the Space Shoppers — cosmic aliens who have landed at the Money Funfair on Earth — to discover how humans use money.
