Fonetti is the interactive reading platform where children read aloud, giving teaching staff real-time pupil reading data in the Fonetti School Portal.
Reading independently on the Fonetti app helps children improve their confidence, fluency and vocabulary, whatever their starting point, while promoting a love of reading.
Patented speech recognition listens as children read aloud, turning the words green when read correctly, and an audible clue if they get stuck. In-app rewards and visual feedback keeps readers engaged, along with fiction, non-fiction and curriculum-supporting content, crafted for different reading ages and abilities.
In school, the app is used alongside the Fonetti School Portal, where teachers allocate books to individuals, intervention groups or whole classes, and then track reading progress and accuracy in real-time, in order to make effective use of 1:1 time. Teachers can instantly see which readers are struggling, and who needs a new challenge.
The app supports the learning needs of children with SEND with dyslexia-friendly fonts and the ability to pause the book whenever needed – accommodating shorter attention spans. App-based reading provides an alternative format to print, and throughout there’s immediate positive reinforcement, congratulating progress to build confidence, helping remove the fear of reading aloud.
Booost is here to help students who learn differently to organise, optimise, and overcome their challenges. Fully utilising time in the day is a headache for anyone; it is even more of an obstacle for students struggling with concentration, processing speed, memory, and overwhelm. Booost’s software enables these students in their studies. The smart time management features help schedule their day, taking their timetable and identifying where available time is. Further than this, Booost will recommend what task to prioritise in that time based on due date, importance, and how close to completion it is. Booost also provides instant access to a library of expertly written wellbeing advice. Available anytime through any device, advice is recommended based on the type of lesson the student is in. Booost is the first piece of software to synchronise time management assistance and wellbeing support under one roof. Created by disability needs assessors it was made to fit this specific gap, where students had previously been missing out. Booost will be further expanding its product range to continue supporting these students.
