Technical or IT Support Service
It seems almost clichéd, each year to speak of how schools increasingly have to more with less budget. Unfortunately this has never been more the case, with the NAHT saying this year that schools are facing a “perfect storm” of eye-watering energy bills, spiralling costs and the additional burden of an unfunded pay increase. Resultantly many schools are now looking at falling into deficit unless they make swinging cuts.
Technology then, has a big role to play. The efficiently and cost savings gleaned from using the right technology properly, can have huge impacts. AdEPT are focused on delivering the right technology affordable for schools.
Computeam are dedicated to delivering tangible educational benefits through the successful introduction, management and support of ICT in schools. Our mission statement is to improve education outcomes using technology.
Computeam currently deliver support to over 450 schools and MATs across England. Our commitment to offer the very best in IT Services is centred around investment in our amazing team, alongside a support methodology that harnesses innovation through strategic planning to design and implement bespoke, cloud-centred IT solutions for each school.
A support service is only as good as its staff, so we hire and develop amazing people who are passionate about making a difference in schools. Our focus on employee engagement and training has helped us become Investors in People Gold, and one of the Top 100 Small companies to work for in the UK in 2022. We are also hugely proud of the quality of our strategic planning service, which delivers significant positive outcomes for every client including improved access, enhanced security and sustainability gains in both cost and environmental impact thanks to our adoption of cloud-centred technologies.
A combination of these factors helps us to achieve significant positive outcomes and industry-leading levels of client feedback and satisfaction.
Concero was founded in 2008 and since then has consistently delivered partnership-led, educationally focused support to schools, built on understanding their needs and providing an honest, dependable, and supportive service. A Microsoft Gold Partner with ISO 9001 and 27001 accreditations, we created an Audit and Action plan-based approach, using educationally standard benchmarks from the DFE, to collectively understand what the school needs and build an implementation programme that delivers concrete results, backed up by industry-leading support packages.
We’re immensely proud of the transformative solutions we have developed alongside our partners, such as Microsoft, Tablet Academy, and Senso Cloud, that give our schools the benefit of cloud-based, anywhere learning, that removes the dependence on local infrastructure and frees teachers to explore more inventive ways of teaching and learning using technology. Students benefit from reliable, dependable equipment without downtime or interruption and build their confidence in collaboration and digital learning skills.
As the largest provider of the Platform Provisioning Programme in the UK, we are poised to extend this experience to an even greater number of schools in 2023 and beyond.
As an education focused IT managed support provider, our aim is to have positive impact on learners, teachers and leaders inside and outside the classroom with cloud-first and sustainable approaches. In the 4 years that we have been in business, we have grown to serve over 120 schools, 40,000 students and 8,000 staff. As a reflective company, we focus on our outcomes and partnerships that we form, using these to continually improve our delivered service. An example of this is our unique on demand and out-of-hours services, ensuring teachers get support whenever they need it and wherever they may be.
By combining technical support with teaching and learning support we ensure that each pupil receives the best possible experience when learning with technology.
Recently we have supported the redesign of the computing curriculum and associated staff training, the school commented:
“……our computing curriculum has been reinvigorated and redesigned. The impact of this on the staff’s confidence to deliver computing lessons and our children’s engagement has been outstanding.”
A parent from the school said:
“The weather report presented by the class brought the whole topic of weather to life, with both parents and children enjoying the interactive nature of the presentation.”
Joskos is a successful solution driven provider of services to schools nationally and is focused solely on education. Joskos places paramount importance on enabling schools to enrich the classroom experience and help to improve learning outcomes and harness the potential of technology.
Joskos has fundamentally changed its structure and its approach to meeting school need through four integrated elements which have deep learning at the core of its engagement with schools: Strategic Consultancy; CPD; Managed Services; and Environment Transformation.
It is this educationally focused, support-driven culture that makes us an ideal partner to schools and led us to becoming one of the suppliers accepted on the Department for Education’s ICT Services Framework Agreement.
Whether it is technical staffing, a suite of managed services, infrastructure solutions, integrating technology into a blended curriculum model or quite simply impartial advice and guidance, we are here to help.
Customer feedback consistently demonstrates that we are committed to helping them to achieve their vision – a commitment that led to Joskos winning the 2012 BETT Award for ICT Service and Support and being short-listed or highly commended every year since.
At Joskos, we provide support for our schools today to transform their tomorrow.
LGfL – The National Grid for Learning
LGfL understands schools. The way they work. The needs of all members of the school community. And the best ways to provide effective support, not just in the provision of technology, but in its use.
Our procurement at scale means that when we say, “Schools can save more money than they spend,” we mean it. But provision of technology is only the beginning of our engagement with them. We provide quality CPD to all staff, not just those in the classroom, but those in the offices and server rooms, too. Whilst our award-winning curriculum resources empower teaching and learning, and our Digisafe services keep networks secure and safeguard learners.
Perhaps the most powerful element of what we do is to bring professionals together within our community of schools, to provide mutual advice and support from their own practice and experience. Whether that is senior leaders developing edtech strategies, classroom practitioners focusing on teaching and learning, or technicians making sure everything works, we all recognise that it is through working together that we can make the biggest difference for the children and young people we work with.
