Action Mats – Mindful Mats
Mindful Mats, from Action Mats, delivers a set of activities printed onto each mat that can be used as a complete sensory circuit, as additional activities with other apparatus or in ones and twos in classroom settings, for Brain Breaks.
Each activity is conveyed using simple graphics so children of every language can join in, without the need for translation or explanation. The universality of the graphics enables all children to lead their own engagement with the activity shown.
Activities feature different levels of dynamism from active to calm to help deescalate children who need it or distract them from troubling events. All activities involve movement and require focus to engage with and to complete.
Mindful Mats empower children.
Annie Advisor – Annie Student Support Assistant
Annie Student Support Assistant is an AI-powered wellbeing chatbot designed to proactively prevent dropout and promote belonging in secondary and higher education. Unlike traditional support systems that wait for students to seek help, Annie reaches out via SMS, WhatsApp and Signal, the channels students actually use, to identify those at risk, engage them in empathetic conversations, and connect them to school-based support.
With average response rates above 59–75% and proven impact (27% reduction in dropout in Finland), Annie is redefining student support. The tool is multilingual, GDPR-compliant, digitally accessible, and supported by peer-reviewed research. Institutions gain anonymized, real-time insights into student challenges, enabling earlier, more efficient interventions.
Cost-effective, scalable, and environmentally sustainable, Annie is helping schools and universities ensure that no student is left alone with their challenges. Annie is aiming to prevent 100,000 dropouts globally by 2027.
Blackout Education
Blackout is a patented technology designed to eliminate smartphone distractions in schools at their root. Installed on student devices, it automatically disables non-essential apps during school hours, while still allowing SMS and traditional phone calls. This ensures parents can always reach their children in emergencies, but students are freed from the pull of social media, camera function and games when they should be focused on learning.
At a time when teenage mental health is under unprecedented strain, and with several countries already banning smartphones in schools, Blackout provides a practical and enforceable solution. Unlike lockable pouches or blanket bans, Blackout is flexible: schools set the hours, and the app ensures compliance without conflict.
Beyond blocking distractions, Blackout equips schools with powerful analytics on device usage, enabling leaders to enforce policies consistently and make evidence-based decisions. The result is a calmer, more focused learning environment where teachers can teach and students can thrive.
Most importantly, Blackout helps break the cycle of endless scrolling. By removing digital distractions during the school day, it inspires young people to re-engage with sport, drama, art, and face-to-face friendships – fostering healthier, happier, and more active lifestyles that last a lifetime.

Vegemi is more than a wellbeing resource, it’s a joyful, holistic pathway to lifelong health and academic success.
Yondr
The link between smartphones, social media, and poor mental health in teenagers is well established. Almost 50% of teens spend over 21 hours a week on devices, and a recent NIHR study found that 90% of 13–16-year-olds have tried to limit their smartphone use. Teens who self-report problematic use are twice as likely to be anxious and three times more likely to be depressed than their peers. Esther Ghey, a leading advocate for safer schools says: “Reducing access to smartphones during the school day can help prevent bullying, improve focus, and support better mental health. It’s a simple step that could make a big difference.”
Since 2014, Yondr has led the global phone-free schools movement, helping over 250,000 UK students and 2.5 million US students to thrive in school. Combining a magnetic lockable pouch with a hands-on support programme, Yondr helps schools embed a phone-free culture.
The impact is measurable: Ryde Academy saw phone-related incidents drop 90%, and cyberbullying fall 63%. The John Wallis School experienced a 75% reduction in truancy and an 80% drop in online safeguarding incidents. With Yondr, students report feeling happier, more engaged, and less stressed while teachers enjoy calmer classrooms and increased focus from students.
